Avoiding Common Pitfalls
in the Plan Restatement Process
Using the required plan update process to improve plan administration by simplifying how the plan defines compensation, avoiding common errors associated with recognizing participation and service, careful delineation of fiduciary roles and responsibilities and better aligning the terms of the plan document with actual administration. Particular focus will be paid to the considerations involved with prototype and volume submitter documents.” |
