One of the great benefits of membership in WP&BC is getting to meet your fellow members to share ideas, network, socialize or volunteer for a cause. We also hold webinar and informational meetings on the latest industry topics. 

This calendar is updated frequently to include local as well as our national events. Please check back regularly. 

A refund is provided for a meeting reservation that is cancelled on or before the reservation deadline for the event.  Cancellations after the reservation deadline are not refundable, but the fee paid is transferable to another attendee for the same event.

    Tina currently serves as a Principal and Senior Retirement Plan Consultant where she advises on investment menu strategies, plan design and governance, and provides employee education.         Pete Swisher, CFP®, CPC, QPA, TGPC

        Managing Partner | Group Plan Systems, LLC

        Pete Swisher, Managing Partner, is widely regarded as one of the top experts in the U.S. with respect to PEPs, MEPs, the ERISA Section 3(16) plan administrator role, and fiduciary duties in general. His balance of experience not only as a subject matter expert (SME) but also as a successful sales leader and brand builder makes possible a range of insights and capabilities that are difficult to imitate.

        Pete is a founding member of the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) and its Leadership Council. As the first Chair of NAPA’s government affairs committee, Pete testified for the ERISA Advisory Council and worked with the staffs of the DOL, IRS, SEC, and members of the U.S. Congress on fiduciary regulations, disclosures, open MEPs, the “bad apple” rule, conflicts of interest, and various legislative drafts. He is the author of several dozen articles in peer-reviewed publications and hundreds of other articles, white papers, and national conference presentations. He wrote 401(k) Fiduciary Governance: An Advisor’s Guide (3rd Edition, 2011), an early textbook for investment advisors pursuing the QPFC and CPFA credentials of the American Retirement Association. In addition to being a Managing Partner at GPS, Pete is the founder and President of the consulting firm Waypoint Fiduciary, LLC, a specialist in group retirement plans.

        As an Echols Scholar at the University of Virginia Pete graduated with a degree in Linguistics and never lost his love of language. He did coursework in seven languages, remains literate at an intermediate level in French and Spanish, and plays a mean game of Scrabble. He served in the first Gulf War as the Executive Officer of a U.S. Marine infantry company and left the Marines as a Captain. He lives with his wife, Shannon, in the horse country of Central Kentucky and spends as much time as possible with his three grown children.

        Chip Logan, AIF®, CFP®

        AVP, Multiple Employer Solutions | Voya

        Chip is an AVP of Strategic Solutions and Business Development for Voya’s Multiple Employer Solutions team, working with the Voya Financial emerging markets sales team, TPAs and Financial Professionals in the development and growth of Pooled Employer Plans and Employer Aggregated Platforms. He has been working in the financial services industry for 30 years in an array of roles including Head of Key Accounts for ING Life Group, National Sales Manager of Estate Planning and Trust for Wachovia Securities, and Executive Director of the Mountain Regional Consulting Center for UBS. In 2010, Chip transitioned exclusively to qualified plans believing in the critical importance for our industry to make it easier for plan sponsors and advisors to help employees achieve a dignified retirement. Chip lives in Denver, Colorado and when he isn’t working, he enjoys the trails and slopes of the Rockies with his sons, family and friends.

        Nate DeLong, CPC

        Regional Vice President | Future Plan

        Nate DeLong is a Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) and Vice President for FuturePlan, a National Third-Party Administrator.  Nate has 2 decades of experience supporting financial professionals and CPA’s, consulting their business-owner clients on topics related to retirement plan design, compliance, and administration.  Nate resides in Southern California with his family, and is responsible for business development in Arizona, California, and Nevada.
