A refund is provided for a meeting reservation that is cancelled on or before the reservation deadline for the event.  Cancellations after the reservation deadline are not refundable, but the fee paid is transferable to another attendee for the same event.

    Distributions Retirement Planning

     The Presentation: 

    While participants spend most of their time figuring out how much to contribute to their retirement plan or what to invest in, plan administrators and advisors need to understand the techniques of distributions to maximize retirement income. This session will cover the impact of a variety of distribution strategies. The session will include:       

     ·       To roll, or not to roll, to an IRA

    ·        QLACs, and QDROs, and ROBS, oh my!

    ·        Distribution tax treatment, Roth strategies, RMDs, and 72(t)


    Our Speaker:


     William Grossman

    William C. Grossman is a retirement plan speaker and writer. Bill has spoken at the WP&BC Annual Conference, ASPPA Annual Conference and NIPA NAFE as well as on webcasts for WPBC and ASPPA and at local chapters of ASPPA, NIPA and now WPBC.

    Bill was Director of Education and Communication at McKay Hochman for over 15 years. Bill delivered many classes and webcasts and was the primary author of most of McKay’s website articles and the firm’s three newsletters. Bill also answered client technical questions on a variety of retirement plans.

    Prior to McKay, Bill was Director of 401(k) Training for a major record keeper. Bill also has had over 20 years experience running a NYC bank’s 1 billion IRA and small retirement plan business.

    Bill earned his QPA in 2003 and has been an ERPA since 2009. Bill’s ASPPA volunteer work includes having been co-chair of the ASPPA Annual Conference, co-chair of The ASPPA Journal (now known as The Plan Consultant), a member of the ASPPA asapcommittee and Bill currently serves on the ASPPA GAC IRS committee. Bill’s NIPA volunteer work includes having been co-chair of the ERPA Conference and having served on the NIPA NAFE conference committee.

    Bill has a BA from New Jersey City University, an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a graduate of the NYC American Institute of Banking, where he then served as an instructor for 17 years.

Reid is well versed in the financial and analytical review of companies from a risk management perspective.
