Hitz Burton, JD Aon Hewitt Associates Mr. Burton is a senior legal consultant in Aon Hewitt’s Newport Beach office. Mr. Burton provides advice to clients regarding the design and administration of their qualified and nonqualified retirement plans. He also has extensive work experience as the lead consultant on more than a dozen compliance audits for qualified retirement
Douglas Van Galder, ERPA, QPA QBI,LLCS
Mr. Van Galder, Executive Vice President of QBI, LLC and former President and a Principal of Strategic Pension Services, Inc. He has over thirty years of experience in the design, implementation, administration and compliance aspects of all types and sizes of Defined Contribution retirement plans.
Stuart Hack, JD, CLU Sunlin Consulting
Mr. Hack is a Partner with Sunlin Consulting LLP and Vice President of Sunlin Consulting Investment Advisory Services LLC. He advises qualified plan sponsors and record keepers on fiduciary liability exposure management. He designs, implements and monitors fiduciary best-practices programs, including fully documented ERISA 404(a)(5), 404(c) and 408(b)(2) compliance solutions.
Marilyn Thompson, CPA Windes, Inc. Ms. Thompson is a Partner with Windes, She has over 30 years of experience in public accounting and currently leads the firm’s ERISA audit practice providing audit and consulting services to employee benefit plans of private, public and nonprofit plan sponsors, including 401(k), 403(b), profit-sharing, defined benefit and ESOP plans. Ms. Thompson also provides audit, assurance and consulting services to privately owned companies and their owners. She has an MS Taxation, Golden Gate University and a BSBA from CSULB.
This Seminar will be held in the offices of The Capital Group. Check-in is open from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. Due to the special nature of this program, we cannot accept walk-ins the day of the event.
