Navigating the Form 5500 Nonsense
While a certain amount of Form 5500 preparation work is routine, every preparer encounters those odd facts and circumstances that just don't fit easily into the current reporting scheme. In addition, there are stunning proposals to radically change the forms in the not too distant future.
During this session, Janice will:
- Present the changes to the 2016 Form 5500 series
- Discuss common questions and preparation errors
- Offer insights about plan accounting issues that may arise when completing the forms; and
- Offer an overview of the Form 5500 Modernization proposal issued in July 2016 and its potential impact on the industry and your work.
You may submit questions in advance by writing to questions@form5500help.com and include in the subject line: Orange County Chapter Meeting.
