Our speakers will be:
Alison Smith Fay, Esq. Boutwell Fay, LLP Ms. Fay is a Partner of Boutwell Fay LLP in Irvine, California. Alison represents employers in all aspects of employee benefit matters, with an emphasis on tax-qualified retirement plans, nonqualified retirement plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans and health and welfare plans. A significant portion of her practice is representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor. Alison is a graduate of Hastings College of Law where she was a member of the Hastings Law Journal and Order of the Coif. She is also a graduate of Stanford University with a degree in Political Science.
Douglas Van Galder, ERPA, QPA Boutwell Fay, LLP Mr. Van Galder, Compliance Analyst, former TPA as an Executive Vice President of QBI, LLC and former President and a Principal of Strategic Pension Services, Inc. has over thirty years of experience in the design, implementation, administration and compliance aspects of all types and sizes of qualified retirement plans. Mr. Van Galder received B.A. degrees in Economics and Political Science from UCLA. He is a long term member of ASPPA and is also a long term member of, and the current President for the Orange County Chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Council.
Stuart Hack, JD, CLU Sunlin Consulting
Mr. Hack is a Partner with Sunlin Consulting LLC and Vice President of Sunlin Consulting Investment Advisory Services LLC. He advises qualified plan sponsors and record keepers on fiduciary liability exposure management. He designs, implements and monitors fiduciary best-practices programs, including fully documented ERISA 404(a)(5), 404(c) and 408(b)(2) compliance solutions.
Samantha Ter-Kasarian Graboff, CPA Windes
Ms. Ter-Kasarian Graboff, CPA, is a Senior Manager, Audit & Assurance Service practice at Windes, Inc. She has over 13 years of experience in auditing employee benefit plans including 401(k), defined benefit plans and health and welfare plans. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She also is a member of the Employee Benefit Audit Quality Center and is a current board member of the Orange County Chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Council.
