Legal & Regulatory Update for Retirement Plan Professionals
Steve Forbes is returning to kick off our 2018-2019 program year.
In his distinct way, Steve will inform us about the most important changes and issues affecting the benefits industry, that are upon us, including:
- Missing Participants - IRS, DOL and PBGC’s coordinating efforts regarding missing participants for both DB and DC plans
- Required Distributions to Terminated Vested Participants - generally at normal retirement age unless the vested balance (accrued benefit) is deferred, raising interesting qualification issues
