In this two-hour webinar, Karen Hawkins, the Director of the Internal Revenue Service's Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR), will discuss Circular 230 and its application to practitioners in the employee benefits field. Topics will include the authority to practice and practitioner responsibilities, recent changes to Circular 230, OPR enforcement initiatives, disciplinary sanctions for violations of Circular 230 requirements, and the specific impact of Circular 230 on employee benefit practitioners. John Griffin, JD, LLM, will moderate the webinar.
